Athlete Foundry Partnership Paves College Pathway
America SCORES is proud to announce a new forward-thinking partnership that provides a one-of-kind innovative tool to help student ages 6th through 12th grades increase their odds to become collegiate athletes, to improve opportunities for college financial assistance, and to help them prepare now for life after sports.
“It is our great fortune to be selected as a community partner with ed-tech company Athlete Foundry and to provide this powerful platform to our families at no cost,” says America SCORES Bay Area Executive Director, Colin Schmidt.
“As our students get older and enter middle school and high school, we’ve been seeking meaningful ways to help them succeed as athletes and students by providing them a way to build their story and capture their growth, on the field and in the classroom, no matter current athletic capability or zip code,” adds Schmidt.
“The robust tool provides the perfect compliment to our soccer program and our broader goals of helping participants become comprehensively healthy and thriving human beings.”
Every student and family in America SCORES and IFC programs is invited to use Athlete Foundry at ZERO COST — a substantial benefit for participants as the platform subscription is valued at $20/per month.
Even if a student is not sure about playing sports in college, the AF platform — and the comprehensive roadmap it provides — will keep students informed and on the right path to to college acceptance.
Schmidt concludes: “At the end of the day, we believe that our students who use this platform regularly will take control of their college journey and build a better version of themselves…they will be creating for themselves the building blocks for academic and career success.”
